The concept of <em>right</em> is being addressed today in a variety of areas, including the relation of man to himself, God, nature and material, and relations to other human beings, comprising the relationships of individuals, individuals with governments, and governments with governments. The authors have attempted to compare and analyze the main pillars of political philosophy of Rawls and Farabi, and ultimately evaluate their different views on good and right. In Farabi's philosophy, virtue and happiness are two fundamental goals, and therefore <em>being</em> is the essence of the world as well as a kind of the root and source of good. Farabi believes that the provision of superiority and perfection depends on Medina. The opposite of Farabi is Rawls, who has substituted righteousness to avoid undermining fairness. According to Rawls, right is a concept that has the capacity to organize the society reasonably and equitably. His criterion in this process is the preference of right over good. In short, those cases and quantities of the citizens’ expectations are selected that conform to the standards of the concept of right.  خیر یا فایده از مهم‌ترین مفاهیمی است که تداوم و گسترش آن، اصل انصاف و استحقاق را در جامعه از بین می‌برد. مفهوم حق نیز امروزه در حوزه های گوناگونی از جمله نسبت انسان با خود، خدا، طبیعت و جمادات، و نسبت با انسان‌های دیگر، اعم از روابط افراد با هم، افراد با حکومت و نیز حکومت ها با یکدیگر مطرح می‌شود. در فلسفۀ فارابی، فضیلت و سعادت دو هدف بنیادین محسوب می‌شوند، بنابراین هستی، جوهر جهان خیر و به‌نوعی ریشه و منبع خیر است. فارابی، تأمین خیر و کمال برتر را در گرو مدینه می‌داند. درحالی‌که راولز برای جلوگیری از تضییع انصاف، خیر را با حق جایگزین کرده است. به نظر راولز حق مفهومی است که قابلیت سامان‌دهی معقول و منصفانۀ جامعه را دارد. معیار او ترجیح مفاهیم حق بر مفاهیم خیر است؛ یعنی آن موارد و مقادیر از انتظارات شهروندان انتخاب می‌شود که منطبق بر معیارهای مفهوم حق باشد. در این پژوهش با بهره گیری از روش توصیفی-تحلیلی به توصیف و تحلیل ارکان اصلی فلسفۀ سیاسی راولز و فارابی (مفاهیم خیر و حق) پرداخته شده و در نهایت ارزیابی کلی از نظریۀ آنها به‌عمل آمده است. فارابی و راولز دیدگاه های متفاوتی در مورد خیر و حق دارند. https://jpq.ut.ac.ir/article_80394_84c7a6a0123702fb9b8ad03129016622.pdf
