Aims and scope of the journal
Politics Quarterly aims to provide a platform for the publication of the work of researchers in the fields of political science, international relations, political geography, area studies, legal studies and political sociology. structure and scholarly content. It is hoped that this Quarterly will contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the general aims of the scientific community and provide detailed and written solutions to the theoretical and practical challenges and problems faced by those interested in the national and international fields.
Peer-Review Policy:
The peer review process in Politics Quarterly is double-blinded in which the reviewer’s name is unknown to the author and, vice versa.
Submitted articles go through a structural and subject evaluation to align with Politics Quarterly principles. Matches go through a double-blind peer review by three field experts (non-editorial staff) chosen by the Board based on specialty. The Board makes the final article selection
Role of the Reviewer:
1. Assist with editorial decisions
The reviewer help the editor in the qualitative and scientific review of the articles
2. Speed up processes
After the initial review, the reviewer should immediately inform the editor of the result, which includes:- Non-judgment of the article - Delayed arbitration
3. Confidentiality of information
All the information of the articles should be confidential for the referee and try to keep it.
4. Arbitration by providing scientific and transparent documentation and arguments
The judgment must be based on scientific and sufficient documentation, clearly stated and be avoided personal opinion.
5. Respect for the sources used in the article
All research, topics and speech used in the article, must be fully referenced in the sources
6. Not reviewing articles with personal agendas
