One of old and permanent questions in political thoughts is about the relationship between morality and policy. Thinking and discussing about this question resulted to different attitudes. Some of thinkers believe that using political power is not suitable with obeying the moral rules therefore no goal even “Justice” is achievable without applying political power. In the opposite side some other thinkers believe that moral principles themselves are so venerable that should constantly control declinations of people having political power. So policy is worthless unless it’s controlled. This article is about to analyze this question in the thought and action of Imam Sajjad and finally offer an appropriate solute on to it.
