THE FRAMEWORK OF THE COOPERATIVE SECURITY IN THE PERSIAN GULF

Abstract

Cooperative security was proposed in the frame of constructive theories. After 1990s, new issues have been raised in the regional security field which was completely different with the realistic approaches. Cooperative security, on one hand, put emphasis on the strategic rationality, on the other hand, the necessity of cooperation and partnership of all neighboring countries in an special geographical field are needed. In line with such a process, theorists like Robert Jervis and Evans proposed the “mutual perception” and persuading regional cooperation towards the normative coalition.
