It seems that Qabus nama (Mirror of princes) of Onsorolmaali and Shahriar Machiavelli as being formed in different temporal and spatial backgrounds, one in 11th century and another one in Italia of 16th century, have some similarities in terms of political content making them as comparable. Perhaps, the comparison of these two works can reveal some similarities and differences of political Iranian codices and political theses of western education. The comparison is made based on internal logic model (Sprignes)- the recognition of crisis, finding causes, utopia and solution. We can say although thought basis of these two theorists is different, the most important crisis of Onsorolmaali is cultural and political destruction of Iran and the most important crisis of Machiavelli is the dominance of church and religion on Italy community. Utopia of Onsorolmaali is based on royal ruling (Fare Izadi) renovating Iranian culture and identity and utopia of Machiavelli is based on royal ruling of virtue brining the unity to country of Italy. The solution of Onsorolmaali is taking ethical, fair, wise and religious policies by the ruler and the solution of Machiavelli is taking non-ethical, authoritative, realistic, wise policies and mostly he attempts to modernize the government. Qabus nama of Onsorolmaali continues the political thought of Iran and it doesn’t have any change in traditional Iranian thought basis and reproduces Iranian benevolent authoritative government. Shahriar Machiavelli is away from western classic divine and ethical thought tradition and draws a modern authoritative political system in which Shahria guarantees not only stability and unity but also it guarantees the civil ethics as in non-ethical way.
